TerabasNews, PANGKALPINANG – PT Timah’s two Mobile Health units once again provided healthcare services to communities within the company’s operational areas simultaneously in Bangka and Belitung Islands on Wednesday (Sept 17, 2025).

In celebration of National Transportation Day, PT Timah Tbk collaborated with the East Belitung Regency Transportation Agency to offer free healthcare services through the Mobile Health unit at Manggar Terminal, East Belitung Regency.

The presence of PT Timah Tbk’s Mobile Health unit at Manggar Terminal was welcomed by 107 residents, including drivers and motorcycle taxi operators, who came to have their health checked.

Head of the East Belitung Transportation Agency, Amirudin, said the Mobile Health program at Manggar Terminal received enthusiastic responses from both the public and public transport drivers.

“In collaboration with PT Timah Tbk on National Transportation Day, we held free health check-ups at the Mobile Health unit at Manggar Terminal. The program was warmly welcomed by the community, and many drivers participated to get their health examined,” he said.

He emphasized that a terminal is not only a place for passengers to get on and off but also serves as a hub for information, education, economic activities, and healthcare services.

“We appreciate the collaboration with PT Timah, and we hope this synergy will continue. With this, PT Timah’s Mobile Health unit, which provides free healthcare services to the community, can regularly be present at Manggar Terminal,” he added.
