MediaMIND Socialization Held in Bangka Belitung, Inviting Journalists and Students to Showcase Their Best Work

TerabasNews, PANGKALPINANG — Indonesia Mining Industry Holding MIND ID together with PT Timah Tbk will hold a MediaMIND socialization event with the theme “Mining Potential, Driving the Economy,” which will take place in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, specifically at Graha Timah Pangkalpinang, on Tuesday (August 26, 2025).

The MediaMIND socialization in Bangka Belitung will highlight the topic “From the Land of the Rainbow Troops to the Nation: Time to Inspire Tin Downstreaming, Harnessing Natural Potential for Sustainable Economic Growth.”

The event will be attended by hundreds of students from universities across Bangka Belitung as well as journalists. The MediaMIND socialization in Bangka Belitung will feature speakers including MIND ID Division Head of CSR Satya Nugraha, PT Timah Tbk Department Head of Corporate Communication Anggi Siahaan, and Tasya Meidityasari from ANTARA.

MediaMIND is a journalism competition organized by MIND ID to showcase the mining industry’s contribution in driving the economy in support of Indonesia’s Golden Vision 2045. The competition is open to journalists, students, and the public across Indonesia.

MediaMIND is not merely a journalism contest. More than that, it serves as a platform for producing quality journalistic works that contribute to the nation’s progress.

Through the works produced, various MIND ID programs—ranging from industrial downstreaming to Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL)—can be presented as informative, educational, and impactful content for the public.
